On 23 October the first Great Wall International Bicycle Festival was held at Laoshan, Beijing, marking HiTi's second major international sporting event of 2004 after the Heineken Open. In just 70 seconds, spectators and riders received a waterproof, sun-resistant print in a festival-themed frame.
