In February 2002 at PMA in Orlando, HiTi — then only fifteen months old — became the only Chinese-affiliated company to win an award, with its self-developed dye-sublimation D2T2 630 series photo printer. Of fifteen award-winning products, each had to show innovative technology, uniqueness and a clear lead over comparable products.
