HiTi (Suzhou) was formally established in March 2001. In February 2002, competing against many famous brands at PMA in Orlando, it won the PMA 2002 Innovative Digital Product Award as the only Chinese-affiliated company honoured. In two years sales climbed steadily, and the quality and output of HiTi dye-sublimation printers won wide recognition.
